Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has dominated the practice runs ahead of the first race of the 2017 Formula One season, while the Ferrari drivers trailed their Mercedes counterparts in the first session, but improved significantly in the second, with Germany’s Sebastian Vettel achieving the second-best lap time of the day, at 1:24.167.
Although it looks like the positive impressions from the two pre-season testing sessions may not turn out to be completely true for Scuderia Ferrari, the results which matter the most now are the ones from the Qualifying session, that will soon take place at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne.
