Scuderia Ferrari German driver Sebastian Vettel produced one of the most incredible overtakes of the Formula 1 season during the 2017 Spanish Grand Prix last Sunday. The 29-year-old, who started the race at the Circuit de Catalunya in second position behind his main rival and championship contender Lewis Hamilton, endded up behind the other Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas on lap 25 but managed to produce a magnificent move to outclass the Fin.
Sebastian used all of his experience to outwit Bottas, rapidly moving right and then left before swooping down the middle. The Mercedes driver most likely thought he had done enough to hold off Vettel, but the four-time Formula One world champion somehow got past his opponent’s car and overtook on the inside of the track.
Although Sebastian lost several decisive seconds behind Valtteri Bottas, which in the end prevented him from winning the 2017 Spanish Grand Prix, the Scuderia Ferrari driver once again proved his talent and skills impressing the crowd with the best move of the race in Barcelona.
