SkySport Italia did an interview with Kimi Raikkonen:
“KR7 – The Last Emperor: Kimi Räikkönen tells about his past, his present and, at 40, a future as a driver yet to be discovered.”
Kimi: “I don’t think this goodbye is sad because I know the team I’m going to race for. Obviously it will be different but there is nothing sad, we have had good times and that is why no one should be sad. “Ferrari is different from any other team, there is a great passion: wherever you go in the world, everyone knows. It’s also a more Italian way of seeing things.”
Too much passion?
Kimi: “No, but sometimes a little less would also be fine but in a strange way, we integrate very well together. I’m different from Italians but things worked out pretty well between us. It will be different in the next few years, but we will all remain friends even if we don’t work together anymore. This is much more important. We’ll see each other in the paddock every race weekend so there won’t be much difference.”
